THURSDAY MARCH 13th GLOBAL BEATS SPECIAL with DJ Russ Jones + LIVE: MADAME MIM £5 after 9pm
Madame Mim is the new project by artist Mariana Eva (aka MM) who has lived between Buenos Aires, Rio and San Francisco and has now settled in São Paulo. She brings a punk mix of electro with Latin rock, a dash of electronic cumbia and a series of new sounds to the dance floor.
MM’s live performances involve only 2 people on stage: Madame Mim sings and plays guitar while her guest Marcelo Vig plays keyboards, groovebox and other surprises, making each presentation unique and vibrant. On the pick ups, Russ Jones – aka the Hackney Globe Trotter - will add his great and vast repertoire of global beats and funky world music.

TUESDAY MARCH 18TH PARAISO SAMBA MASTER CLASS £5 after 8pm
Paraiso School of Samba return to Guanabara to present full-on pure Rio samba percussion from their bateria live on stage, preceded by an authentic SAMBA MASTER CLASS. Paraíso is dedicated to the performance and teaching of authentic Rio samba. They parade every year at Notting Hill Carnival and their workshops and classes have taught countless fans how to dance this amazingly exotic rhythm.Come down and make your Tuesday evening an unforgettable party!
